Mom's Bible Study Thursday, November 20, 10:15 a.m. In this weekly 'drop in' small group we'll meet for Bible Study, prayer, fun and friendship. In the Thursdays leading up to Thanksgiving, we'll be studying Paul's letter to The Philippians with the help of "Philippians: Jesus our Joy" by Donald Baker. CAST (Community of All Saints' Teens) Taizé Pilgrimage Informational Meeting Sunday, November 23, 12:30 pm Current 10th and 11th grade students are starting to think ahead! They're working towards embarking on a new adventure, visiting the ecumenical community of Taizé in France during their 11th and 12th grade years. Students will gather to study, pray, learn and plan their pilgrimage beginning with this information meeting. A visit to Taizé is an invitation to "enter into the rhythm of community life . . .gathering with the brothers at prayer times, joining with people from other countries for meetings, meals, small group discussions and practical tasks (serving meals, washing up, etc.)." Students will travel to Taizé in the spring of 2010. Homeless Assistance Services Monday, November 24, 2:30pm Volunteer to help prepare or serve a hot meal for our guests. This program gives our in-need population a safe, friendly place for interaction, prayer and referral services. Each Monday we provide hot meals, spiritual services, clothing and hygiene kits to over 100 people. You can volunteer for as little as two hours a month.
