All Saints new evening service
called Se7en which replaced the Saturday Good
Evening service. Se7en is in
the newly-renovated All Saints' Chapel and features a mix of old and new approaches
to liturgy and worship: music, multi-media visuals, movement and text meet together
in a provocative and dynamic combination.
Se7en is more than simply a new service, it is the nexus for a whole new
approach to the Christian life--centered around a rhythm of life--offering a holistic and
practice-based grid for living. A number of simple guidelines are offered as a way for
us to shape our lives according to Jesus' vision of the Kingdom of God and these ideas are
woven into the service on a regular basis enabling all who come the opportunity to find
a new rhythm to their lives.
The world is rapidly changing and we can feel lost in a complex and perplexing global jungle:
a world of technological innovation and change where things like terrorism, rampant consumerism,
environmental challenges, global catastrophes, and all the pressures of daily living pull us in
many directions. Our old maps and guides for life and living don't seem to work so well anymore
in helping us deal with it.
More of the same is obviously not the answer, so Se7en offers something different--
a new vision for the church that addresses the spiritual life in the 21st century.
Come and join us on Sunday evenings at Se7en and become a part of something new.
