My Friend’s Place

My Friend’s Place is a drop-in center that offers disenfranchised youth a safe environment, as well as
professional counseling, work preparedness programs and parenting skills classes. Every third Thursday, All Saints’ volunteers serve pizza, soda, cake and ice cream to the guests who celebrate a birthday that month. Many people come through our doors with uneven faith. If you’re curious and want to explore the mystery of God and the generous Christianity that we practice here, consider taking (and learning) this eight-week course about God, Jesus, the Bible, prayer, suffering, and things that matter. Led by The Rev. Mary Haddad, the class invites your questions about faith, and is created for all seekers - those who know absolutely nothing, those who have been church-damaged, or those who haven’t examined their faith in a very long time.
