Holy Week begins as we commemorate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

The altar is stripped to visually symbolize Jesus leaving us. 

 

THE WATCH, APRIL 17 & 18

After the Maundy Thursday Service until 12:00 Noon Good Friday

As Jesus asked the disciples to keep watch while he prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, we keep a silent prayer vigil in All Saints’ Chapel.

 

GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 18

CAST Fast starts 12:00 Noon

Liturgy 12:00 Noon*; Confessions 1:30 p.m.*

Stations of the Cross 6:30 p.m.

We walk through the events of the last 24 hours of Jesus’ life on earth.

 

EASTER EVE, SATURDAY APRIL 19

CAST Fast Ends 5:00pm

The Great Vigil 8:00 p.m.*

From the darkness of the tomb to the glorious resurrection – Alleluia Christ is risen! Baptisms, bells, magnificent music; no wonder this is many peoples’ favorite service of the year.

 

EASTER DAY, APRIL 20

Choral Eucharist 8:30* (Note: no 8:00 a.m. service today)

Choral Eucharist 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.*
Families are encouraged to come to the Easter Family Fun after the 1 PM service on Easter Sunday. For our children there’ll be Easter goody bags and a fun Pied Piper to lead games, make balloon animals and more!

Contemporary Eucharist 11:30 a.m.*

Easter Day dawns and Jesus appears to His followers. We continue joyous celebrations of the resurrection of our Savior.
