All Saints' Women's Ministry

Women experiencing God’s Love in Community
and spreading Christ’s Love to the World

The All Saints' Women's Ministry arranges programs that seek to illuminate and celebrate Christ’s vision for our community and the world while supporting the transformation by Jesus of our inward and outward world. The programs seek to provide transformational insights that spark curiosity and ignite passion to motivate a deeper understanding of ourselves, each other and our families, so that we might approach our work, our community and the world with greater compassion.

The 2007 agenda consists of off-site retreats, Thursday evening dinner forums and sponsored events covering a wide variety of topics. The events strive to provide sacred space for a loving and supportive community of women to experience God through Jesus.

Fall 2008 Retreat

Women's Retreat, September 26-28, 2008 at The Santa Barbara Mission – The Women’s Ministry is honored to have as our leader, The Rev. Martha Horne, Dean and President Emeriti of the Virginia Theological Seminary. She is now serving as Dean of Leadership Development for Presidents of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. During her long tenure, she has transformed the state of theological education. She is well known as brilliant teacher, devoted pastor and mentor to a generation of priests including our own Maryetta, Doyt and Ron.

Dean Horne will be addressing the topic of Forgiveness. “It’s something that keeps coming back to me as being so important and so difficult for most of us—and at the very core of the Gospel.”
