Hi Guys,
We woke up this morning to a comfortable bed of rocky earth and sunlight. We ate a speedy breakfast and then headed over to the Ranger station, where we once again encountered Ranger Neal, but this time we weren't in possession of illegally obtained firewood. We watched an epic documentary about the founding and exploration of the glory that is Hovenweep. Delicious. We took a hike around the grounds, and saw how peeps lived it up in the 13th century. This year we went without a guide who asked unanswerable questions. Delectable. Driving home from the monument, we saw the dirt roads we took up, it turns out their weren't any shoulder railings that lead into 50 foot drops... yikes. Well we're still alive, whatevs. We ate leftover hamdogs and pb&j sandwiches. After tying some loose ends, we packed up our bags, rode some sheep, and swept and mopped the floors. Oh we also all really stink, so we had to get some shower action in. resulting in smelling delightful. With clean butts and pitts, we had pizza for dinner and prepared for evening prayer. What a night... with 4 seniors graduating from the group, it was quite an emotional night. Many tears shed, with appreciations and feelings shared. We all love each other to say the least. It's been an amazing trip, and we're all very sad to see it end. We're going to miss this group, and the experiences we've had. We miss you all, and will see you soon tomorrow night.
Much Love,
Jamie, Jenna, and Kelsi
