All Saints' Episcopal Church

NAVAJOLAND 2010

Take one quick snapshot of a mission trip and these are just some of the stories you'll find there! Hard work, building relationships, growing community, deepening faith, worship, experiencing transformation! Each summer our dynamic teens and their leaders travel to St. Christopher's mission in Utah to spend time on the Navajo reservation. Through Vacation Bible School, work projects, worship, hiking, and more, the teens and their leaders grow in ways they could have never imagined. The work done on the mission can be simple yet meaningful and the relationships that the CAST has fostered with the community is strong and yet there is room to grow. If you're looking for a life changing experience with a group of teenagers - this is it!

This CAST mission partnership was created by the teens, for the teens. It is entirely supported by CAST fundraisers and student tuition. From renting vans, to Vacation Bible School supplies, to work gloves and materials - they do it themselves. And, our partnership is growing. The Episcopal Church in Navajoland is working to improve St. Christopher's mission. With plans for retreat center renovations, a medical clinic, improved campus grounds and the already growing community garden, our support can reach many. Just last year the students built a wheelchair ramp for one of the Epsicopal Churches that serves the reservation.
