Youth Ministry
2001-2002
All Saints is
committed to being a loving and encouraging presence in the lives
of the teenagers of the Parish as we help them to navigate the
challenges of adolescence. At this time, the entire parish has
been challenged to ask the Holy Spirit to lead us in our mission.
Through prayer, fellowship, and education the people of All
Saints hope To become disciples who make disciples
through Christ. As the new school year begins, the youth
ministry program is also being challenged. With the new
Coordinator for Youth Ministry, Karlyn Johnson, on board and some
new energy in the air, we, too, invite the Holy Spirit to come
into our midst and continue to guide us in our spiritual
formation.

On Sunday mornings at nine, we offer the program Rite-13 for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders . Our goals are to celebrate Gods gift of womanhood and manhood and to explore the principles of freedom, responsibility, and friendship - all while having a great time together!!! This program takes place in the Youth Room located on the second floor of the Parish Office Building. Participants should register with the Coordinator for Youth Ministry in order to participate in the program. |
the C.A.S.T. A new weekly youth program which is open to 7th - 12th graders will take place on Sunday evenings. This program known as the C.A.S.T. or the Community of All Saints Teens is prepared to challenge teens to answer the question, What role do you play?. Teens are invited to join the C.A.S.T. on Sunday evenings from 6 - 8 PM to discover their talents, enjoy fellowship, play games, interact with one another and simply be in the presence of Christ. (Be sure to have dinner before you come - we will be saving our mealtimes for special occasions and events!!) There will also be special events and highlights such as the annual PetWash, the 30 Hour Famine, a Fall Retreat, a winter Lock-In, parties, trips, and much, much more!! |
