Vestry At A Glance

Qualifications

To be considered by the Nominating Committee, a person must:

  • Be a believer and follower of Jesus Christ.

  • Be confirmed in the Episcopal Church according to the canons.

  • Be sixteen years of age or over and an active member of All Saints’ Parish.

  • Be a pledging member for at least three years including the current year.

  • Be a member in good standing for the past three years - continuous service to the parish.

  • Be supportive of God’s work at All Saints’.

  • Be significantly involved as a volunteer in an organized All Saints’ ministry.

Vestry members come from all walks of life, but all share a profound love for All Saints’.

Different Vestry members bring different skills, talents, and gifts to the Body of Christ. But certain attributes greatly contribute to success:

  • A servant’s heart

  • The desire to be a positive ambassador of All Saints’

  • The willingness and skills to lead with vision, patience, and compassion

  • Good listening and problem solving skills

  • Ability to see the big picture while attending to details

  • Can and will set aside personal agendas

  • Meaningfully contributes as a collaborative part of the team

  • Sunday, October 4 at 11:30 am in Lower Sweetland Hall

  • Thursday, October 15 at 6 pm via Zoom

Vestry nominations can be submitted online, in person, by mail, or by email.

The submission deadline is Friday, November 6, 2026 at midnight PST.

Paper nomination forms are available at the Welcome Table on the patio on Sunday mornings.
