We are called to be Christ’s hands, feet, eyes, ears, and voice in the world. Serving others is integral to following Jesus, and All Saints’ offers many ways to live this out. Whether you have very little time or lots of time to offer, whether you want to come on your own or include your spouse or kids, whether you’re available evenings, weekends, weekdays, once a month or every day—we have volunteer opportunities for you!
All Saints’ volunteers serve weekly meals to homeless and food-insecure guests, sort pills for our annual medical mission to Honduras, prepare monthly brunches for at-risk youth, purchase and wrap Christmas gifts for Project Angel Tree, hand out bags of groceries at a local Islamic Center, accompany children to visit their parents in prison on Mother’s Day, assist our homeless and elderly neighbors with doing their laundry each month, visit people in prison and in the hospital—and so much more.
As you plunge in—or put a tentative toe to feel the waters—you’ll quickly come to understand what every experienced volunteer knows: we nearly always get back more than we give. And with so many opportunities to choose from, if one ministry turns out not to be quite the right fit, there are plenty of other options to try out.
See the links at right or the list below for opportunities to volunteer.
